I just love Adel's smile. She kept saying "cheese" every time I would hold my camera up and then just kept her mouth like that. Quincy was not very interested in getting his picture taken but he is still a little cutie!

Such a cute little family. I only got to see them for a few minutes before I had to run off and do my next photoshoot but I am pretty happy with the results from a 10 minute photoshoot.

I hope you guys enjoy the pictures!

Last night I did a family photoshoot for an old friend. She really wanted to get pictures of her grandchildren doing an Easter egg hunt and a couple of formal ones also. It was a bit crazy with 5 kids running around, but it was a lot of fun. One of the boys, Chase, had the hardest time staying focused and looking at the camera so there are plenty of shot where he is off in lala land. I suggested that next time I being bubbles for him to play with and he really liked that. Here is a peak at some of the shots I was able to capture of the Easter Egg hunt and the family shoot.

Sweet little Penny. She found one egg and sucked on it the whole rest of the hunt

I caught the little man off guard with this picture but in between shots he would laugh and smiles so hard! It was adorable.

She sure was having a lot of fun out there!
She was bound and determined to eat that egg, shell and all!

 He found one!

Chase found this awesome camo egg. He was pretty excited about it!

We all warned him not to stick his hand in there because of snakes! He is a brave soul.

This little man was more enamored with his toes than the hunt
Look at all of those eggs!

Here are the cousins helping each other out!

Beautiful Penny fell down. But I loved the contrast between the grass and her pink dress!

His basket was hidden in the trash can!!!! Eww!

The beginning of the formal shots.... before they got antsy and hungry

 This one is cute

He LOVED lugging around the babies and giving them kisses!
It was pretty hard to get them all to look at the camera at the same time!

Love this one of the girls!
This one cracked me up because Penny kept spreading her legs for every shot. It was hilarious!
this one by far my favorite!

2.25.2012 Engagements

For my first ever post I am sharing my sister's engagement session that happened this past weekend. Her and her fiance came to Salt Lake for the day and we walked around town finding places that we liked and taking pictures wherever! It was very laid back and tons of fun, but also FREEZING! My hands were numb 5 minutes in. Regardless, we had a great time and got a ton of great shots!!!

This was my favorite shot of the day..... well actually my favorite shot EVER! There is just something so right about this photo.

I LOVED this old run down building.

My sister is so gorgeous! I absolutely loved this pose.

This is one of the cuter poses that I have created
I love this shot. It's so raw and natural. Not something that you can force!

This shot was fun to get. I made him lift her up several time and hold her there for long periods, but it was well worth it. We got some really great shots from this.

You can never go wrong by cutting off the heads of your subjects.

Kelly was messing around and making funny faces the whole time. This is one that I captured and just loved.

Fantastic area is Salt Lake. Makes for a great background.

We had a lot of fun with this fantastic brick wall. Not sure if this is orange or red but another great background for these photos. It really makes them pop!

I just love the look on Kelly's face. Another very natural moment between these two love birds that just says it all.

It was so easy to create beautiful pictures with these two. They have some natural talent.

I love creating the blurred effect. It goes well with the pose and surrounds. Another great area for photos also!

I had a lot of fun photographing these two. They are definitely going to have a very long and successful marriage.  Thanks for the awesome photo shoot Matt and Kelly!
